Listeners, it is difficult to write this email. I am no longer going to be hosting Doc’s Juke Joint on Sunday nights. Over the last four plus years I have appreciated the great opportunity to volunteer and get back on the radio full-time. I also greatly appreciate the support from all of you. At this time in my life I need to spend more time with my family and work harder at my “day job” thing.
The Good News is I am going to continue Doc’s Juke Joint as a blog website promoting Music that Needs to be Heard. I will be writing CD reviews and promoting local and regional music happenings. I also hope that Mike Caito, Jeff Harris and some writers TBD will join me in the producing of this music website for serious music fans.
The OTHER Good News: The history of the blues will continue to be aired on Jazz 90.1, so please continue to join Jeff “Stoop Down” Harris for Big Road Blues: 5-7pm EST every Sunday Night, Streaming live on the net @ http://www.jazz901.org
Make Every Day Count and Enjoy Every Sandwich.
See you at the shows! Doc
