In this one-hour radio special, you’ll hear of the man and the times in which he lived, the myth of his “deal with the devil” at the crossroads, and the music he created through interviews with Johnson’s grandson and Vice President of the Robert Johnson Blues Foundation Stephen Johnson. Art Loves Jazz 2011 will take place on Thursday May 19th from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Artisan Works on Blossom Road in Rochester. Tickets are only $30.00 each, and go on sale in April. The event will feature live jazz by the Bob Sneider Trio and the Steve Greene Trio, great gourmet food, access to Artisan Works, a 20,000 sq. ft. art gallery and event space, a huge silent auction, live art auction and more.
